Help. I'm on my 4th pregnancy which I'm very happy about. But I'm also overweight and have been having a hard time losing the weight before pregnancy. How do I control my cravings . which its not like I crave un healthy foods. But I dont have portion control. I do have a sweet tooth but I dont have junk food at home anyways . I'm trying to avoid processed foods but bc morning ( all day ) sickness I can't think correctly and dont make the right food choices . advice , I'm 206 lbs , 26 yrs,in my 4th month .

How much weight does your OB want you to gain? Mine gave me an 18lb goal when I weighed 230 for instance

My mid-wife didn't say the range of weight I need to gain . its hard to find the right food to eat when I feel so crappy . hoping it will past soon. Just trying to manage being a mother to another 3 kids and a wife . lately too fatigued ... Hoping to regain my energy soon

Well, if it's any help, my go to for all-dang-day sickness was salty stuff. A few pretzels, salt bagel, crackers, whatever. It did the trick!

As for the food, pre-prepare snack baggies. I had s bazillions ziplocks full of a Pepridge farm mini bagel, pretzels, peanuts, whatever and I'd just grab a bunch for work. I called it "pregnant lady trail mix". It wasn't terribly healthy but it kept me from puking my brains out!

Then again I didn't have any other kids to deal with, so ymmv. Good luck!

Yeah thanks, its much easier with 1 or 2 kids, but 3 adds a whole new challenge , it is however enjoyable when I'm not sleep deprived .

im right with you, im on my 6th month of pregnancy . Did not lose my first pregnancy weight gain so with this pregnancy I started off at 265lbs 5ft 10inches tall. Got up to 276.5. My ob was very concerned and asked me to watch what I ate and said no more weight gain . I log everything I eat and walk 4 times a week and im down to 269. I am not starving myself and i indulge what i crave in moderation. Im not too tough on myself. You can add me if youd like . goodluck
