Can anyone tell me what kom is in portion sizes ( trying to log my cornflakes) also how much is a cup . ? Thanks I advance. Jenny

A cup is about 240ml or 8 fl.oz it's largely an American thing and is a volume measure not mass / weight.0 -
I bought a cheap food scale and then a set of measuring cups
It helped a lot since some things are portioned by weight and other by filing a cup.
A cup of wet rice weighs more than a cup of dry rice
So knowing which way you should measure matters

Thanks for info come to think of it I,'ve seen sets of measuring cups. Only started a couple of days ago. Just finding my way round the app0

As if it weren't complicated enough, a cup is measured differently for liquid and dry food. The liquid cup measures 8 ounces or 240ml0
