I am a member of a few different forums for various hobbies. There always seems to be little groups that are flag crews on things they just don't like.

Generally a new thread that gets flagged goes away forever very quickly because it is obviously spam. Posts within an existing thread that get flagged will be looked at more closely before a moderator decision is made.
