Any suggestions for what to eat at an Indian Buffet?

Hi all, I'm going to an Indian buffet shortly, and was wondering if there were any good ideas for things to eat/avoid. My goals are low-ish calorie, and high protein.
I'm thinking dry chicken, eg tikka. Boiled rice (not too much) and any veg. Any other ideas?
Many thanks, Mark

If it were me...I'd log an extra exercise session. Love Indian buffet!!
Seriously though, meats/veggies in no sauce or tomato sauce. Stay away from creamy/cheesy stuff and no naan!0 -

Other than (mostly*) avoiding the fried foods, and things in cream sauce or obvious fat, I can't think
of much there that wouldn't be good/healthy. Plenty of protein, veggies, probably some fruit, and
of course there has to be some rice to soak up the sauces.
* I'd splurge on the galub jamun for dessert, 'cause I really like them, but maybe that's just me.0 -
Raitas are usually good but watch for sugar in it. Tandoor chicken or meat is good too. Avoid gravy dishes as they are usually high in cream. Kebabs are good too.0
