Getting past discouragement with weight loss

I just completed whole 30 while counting WW points and training for my first sprint triathlon. Completed the triathlon and whole 30 and ,besides the initial water weight, I lost 1 whole lb the entire month. Before that I lost about 40 lbs and am trying to lose the last 30, and I had gotten down to a 50 lb loss but gained 10 back. I've noticed that trying to get that 10 lbs off that i gained back is way harder the second time around. I'm now finding myself struggling to get back on the wagon and count calories hardcore because I just feel deflated. It seems so much harder this time around and its hard to stay motivated when even when you're doing everything right your efforts do not seem to pay off. Has anyone else been here before and was able to get themselves out of this negative mind hole? How did you do it? Also, has anyone else found that losing regained weight is harder than losing the weight initially?

How many calories are you eating/day? How long have you been eating at a calorie deficit?

When you struggle, it's important to have a solid why behind this journey. Why are you doing this? What is driving you? For me, it's my son. I want to show him how to healthy and fit, so he never has the problems I had when I was 64 lbs over weight. A solid why will help you to overcome any difficult situation.

Also, have a great support group for encouragement and advice. I help to run a great support and accountability group on Facebook for people looking to improve their health and fitness. It's just a bunch of people supporting and encouraging each other to make progress towards their goals. It's an awesome community. If you're interested in it, I'd be glad to chat with you about it.

    Are you in a deficit?

As far as I know, I was counting points and not calories until recently because that was working for me but no longer is. I weighed and measured as much of my food as I could, obviously cant measure when eating out haha, so I am not sure why I did not lose more and why my losses have slowed on the second time around.
