My container of Simple Truth Organic Low Sodium Chicken Broth lists the sodium content as 140 per serving but on the choices given when putting it into the MFP data base, it lists it as 840. How can they be so different?

Either the person who input the info did so incorrectly or 840 is for the entire container rather than one serving.

I looked online and it does show that one serving of 1 cup (240ml) contains 140mg of sodium.

Herb ox makes a Sodium FREE Chicken and Beef broth. That is all I use now.

    This ^^

There are more incorrect entries in the MFP database than correct. You need to check everything!
