If I stay within my calorie limit but don't hit my macros...will it make a big difference?

for weight loss? probably not. For health over a lifetime of being "off"? maybe.

How much over is a "bit" for your macros? If you're only a few over or under, don't sweat it in the least. Trying to hit your calories and macros perfectly is nearly futile. No need to go insane about it (I've done that before and NEVER again).

Now if you're hitting your macros nearly spot on but not near your calorie limit (more than 100 calories off), you might want to check on the actual entries for that food for they could have been entered incorrectly. Based on the number of calories per gram of carb, fat, and protein, if you're hitting your macros it's impossible to not be close to your calorie goal.

    I guess it's not a lot over....but it's consistently a little over.
I think I need an actual meal plan to hit the macros and be closer to my calorie goal.
