Change my daily calorie goal

I need to reduce my daily calorie goal. I go in and edit my profile with current weight, etc. and then it shows me what my new calorie goal should be. Then I click get started. After that it still shows my old calorie goal. It is not updating for some reason.

What number are you trying to reduce it to? MFP will not provide Calorie goals below 1200 for females and 1500 for males, based on the guidelines from the US National Institutes of Health.

If your desired goal is 1200 or greater and you have problems, you could open a Case with Customer Support on the MFP Help pages.

That's odd as my calorie goal is set at 1300 and it is currently saved as that. I set that on an external site (diet chef) and it asked me to synchronise my profile with this app which is why I ended up here.

In my home> goals, it's been taking a little while to update but in your food diary it should update instantly. Recently lowered my calories and that was my experience.
