Hey everyone,, going tomorrow to cancun for my birthday with my boyfriend. Only one week. Ive been pretty accurate with my macros for the past 2 weeks to a month.. feeling like ive been mataining more than anything really..
current spilt 60p.20c.20f on 1450 a day. I know people think im nuts for doing this but it actually works. yes sometimes I feel restricted but its not too bad.
Anyways I dont want to be a physco when I go, I do wanna enjoy myself moderately... bringing all my gear to get in some workouts as well..
More so dont wanna gain any weight while there if its possible.. what do you guys suggest with a reasonable split (ovbiously I wont be exactly macro friendly but If I have a range in my mind maybe ill be at peace lol)
Thanks

Is that you in your avatar? You're skinny, so f*** it!
A week is not a lifetime. If you gain this week, you can lose the next week.

I vote for F it0

I'm on holiday in 6 weeks, I won't be doing any logging/counting/or restricting. I'll pig out for a week and just jump straight back on to logging/weighing when I get back.

Honestly, I would just enjoy yourself.
I went on a week long all inclusive vacation a few weeks ago, I ate everything I wanted, drank, cookies everyday, had dessert every night and did no workouts at all (unless you count walking and a bit of swimming). I maybe had a 2lb water gain when I got back but otherwise I looked the same if not better (the tan always helps ) .. once I got back into normal routine, a few days later I was back down to regular weight (I am maintaining), so I am very happy I didn't track and just enjoyed my vacation.0 -
You can eat what you want without going hog wild! One thing that's great about tracking your calories on MFP is that you really get in tune with portion sizes and how many calories are in foods. I would eat what I want, but not go completely crazy. It would be really easy to eat 3-4 weeks worth of your normal calories in one week!0

Live ya life and have fun! You know how to make good choices at this point, if you should want to. I'm going on vacation this weekend myself and I'm gonna enjoy it.

eat, drink, and be merry on your vacation ..if you want to try to log stuff just because then by all means do, I do that on vacation but I realize it is probably wildly inaccurate …but don't worry about macros and what not.0

for cancun.... "f it"... all the way..
Been there and there is no way I would consider 1) drinking the water or even brushing my teeth with it 2) being particular about the food...0 -
Eff it, just enjoy yourself. You can get back to your routine next week0

ehhh enjoy yourself and don't worry about macros. if you really want to, maybe be mindful of what you're eating but honestly it's only a week0

F it. I just got back from vacation last week. Ate what I wanted and had a great time with no weight gain. Got right back at it when I was home. Have fun!0
