I always say..... "If carrots tasted like cheetos" would be a great name for a book...
Thats my thing. Totally change what I ate when I was younger.

I'm fortunate that the influences in my life then kept me pretty on track with eating healthy. But, going back, I'd have taken the vegetarian path long, long ago.

I was never over weight but I'm so glad I have raised my children on lots of fresh veggies and fruit... My kids will choose a salad to pizza on most occasions..

To not listen to my ex step-mother. She kept me home from school one day to tell me how fat I was getting, and that was the first time I remember even caring about my weight. I was 118...not fat. She is, in fact, the craziest person I've ever encountered. :)

I would have redone the six or so years when I got lazy. Not eaten the crap I ate or drank all the sugar and sugary mixed drinks I did.

Those stepmonsters can be shifty.. you really have to watch out for them. I have an evil stepmonster as well.. total B**ch!

What would I do over? I wouldn't flunk out of college...If I realized then that I have ADD, it would've made a world of difference...

Well with me, only 17 years into my life, I would change it all. Never eat pizza, oreos, or any sweets. Than maybe I'd be a skinny guy and not have the problems I have now

I wouldn't change anything. I love and appreciate myself now in a way I wouldn't if I had always been healthy. This victory was hard to earn, but now, it is sweeter.

I would have focused more on school and less on boys. Boys are trouble.

Um... Flip side to that, more time on school, and less time chasing women. Girls can be evil.
(almost not fair though, colleges are usually 65% female, I loved those odds)

I wish I had stayed active. Before I had a car, I walked everywhere. All of that walking allowed me to eat pretty much anything I wanted. How quickly that changed once I had the ability to drive everywhere.

    If I could do it over again, I would . . .

. . . get help for my depression far sooner than I did

. . . end it with my ex when I realized what was wrong with him and that he needed help and that he refused to get that help

    . . . realize that I can't fix everyone

. . . stop letting people walk all over me and learn how to say "NO"

I would've stayed in sports as I probably wouldn't have a weight problem now....

I would've also learned the value of nutrition, instead of the "I can eat anything and be ok" mindset.

I would have embraced portion size.

Everything else, even the super crappy parts, have made me who I am and I kinda like myself. Lol.

I would have stopped eating like I was still swimming 4 hours a day. On my high school swim team we worked out 2 hours in the AM and 2 hours in the PM. Those were the days I could and did eat anything I wanted. Too bad I was never told people that are not burning the calories can't eat like I was.

I would have not let the PA at my OB/GYN freak me out about how little weight I was gaining with my last child and instead listened to what my doctor did say about the baby measuring perfect. I has lost 65 lbs between my second and third babies, I wish I had stuck to my guns and not started eating junk again just to make some old bat happy.

I would have made better choices when I was pregnant instead of thinking the weight would just fall off after having my three children.
