okay. Here we go.

So I am looking for a supportive group here and I am kinda new to the community here. I am calling this period of my life my recovery. I have had a bunch a bumps and excitement which have lead me through going back to Grad school so I can get a teaching job.

I love playing squash, dancing, swimming, creating and playing with my kid. I also like food, drink, and excess. I am making a lifestyle change to improve my quality of life and to be able to do a handstand again.

I could use your help. I haven't been able to do it without a support group so far.

Okay. That's me. Who are you?

Hi Dana! That is one of my goals too! I haven't been able to do a handstand since I was a kid! I've never been to graceful so I'm still having a hard time! My name is Laura and I've been using MFP consistently for over a year now. I lost about 40 lbs last year and now I'm just trying to trying to keep it off! I love that you used the word's "lifestyle change" A lot of people say diet and it is so temporary. Lifestyle change will go a long way and will make you feel like a superstar!

Hi Dana! I'm Meg. I'm 30. From California, but I now live in Germany. I have a 5 month old son, and am trying to get back into shape. I like going for walks, and biking. Unfortunately I also love to cook and bake.
