I've Gone Too Far

I didn't think it would ever get to this point in weight gain but it has and I'm a bit devastated to say the least. I can give some stats. Forty eight year old male, 5'10" and a current weight of 260 pounds. A month ago, I weighed 247 and I have an explanation of the recent weight gain. In 2008' I weighed 185 pounds. What happened? Too many things I imagine. That's just the beginning.

    You have to start where you are. Beating yourself up will not help. Take today as the first day of the rest of your life, and start building healthy habits that will stead you in the long run. MFP is a great start. Log everything! Being aware of calories in is a great place to start. Add a bit of daily physical activity (assuming that you are cleared by your family doc to exercise or don't have any contraindications!). Take a walk around the block! You can do it!
