Has anyone done 30 day shred as part of their long term exercise programme?

I am thinking of doing 30 DS 3-4 times a week over the next 17 wks and wonder if I would see good results with calorie counting as well

I did 30DS over two months last summer (roughly alternate days with running in between). I found it great for improving core strength, leg strength and cardio fitness. It doesn't burn that many calories on its own so you would probably need to add extra cardio to allow you to eat more calories (or to lose weight faster). I have been doing the programme again since Christmas, two or three times a week, again with walking, running and cross trainer on other days.

Thanks. Although I probably won't fit in another cardio as was planning on doing it on my days off, the days I work I'm on my feet 12 hrs walking up and down the ward.
So was hoping 30 DS would be enough with a calorie defect to see results x

With you not being a sedentary person I think its a great idea. Maybe after you have done the shread 2-3 times, graduate to another one of Jillians dvd's. A lot of people do just to change it up. They have ripped in 30 which I think people go to after they are done with the shred.
