does anyone have any recommendations to what meals that are both healthy and good to eat?

One bit of advice I read once made a lot of sense - eat 7 different foods of varying quantities at every meal: 21 foods a day. With such a wide variety over the day you will be getting a good mix of nutrients and not too much of any one food group.

It all depends on what you like eating. There's no point forcing yourself to eat foods you dislike. Don't think of food as good or bad... Anything goes, within reason.

Base most of your meals around protein, good Fats and fresh vegies/fruit. If the majority of your meals are made up of nutrient dense options, there's no problem fitting in other foods you like that might not be so nutritious.

    my diary is open...

breakfast for the summer is a smoothie
Lunch today is roasted red pepper and basil stuffed chicken breast with noodles
Dinner is maple glazed salmon with veggies and noodles probably
snacks are yogurt and chocolate bar.

I eat out as well...grilled chicken burgers (doesn't matter where I get them), subs etc.
