I feel like during the weight loss process we all face the dreaded moment when for a few days, weeks, months we fall off the wagon and gain back a few pounds. How do you cope with that and how do you get your but back into gear??

For a few days or weeks, I remind myself that weight loss isn't linear. I haven't had an issue with months or with falling off the wagon. Really, all you can do is get back on the wagon or stay off of it, though.0

Try setting small goals, and committing to those.
Like if you've stopped logging, your job for today is to log. That's it. Tomorrow, it's to log, and to eat less than the day before, even if by 1 calorie. Day after, log, and eat to a modest weight loss target, like 0.5 lb a week. Day after, log, keep the target or go under, take one extra walk, even if it's around the block.
Keep baby stepping until you feel back in gear and can hop to where you want to be, or until the baby steps walk you right there. Sometimes we need a nudge or three, and then we're able to leap forward. And sometimes we need to do it whether we want to or feel like it or not. (Fake it 'til you make it sort of thinking.)0 -
Sometimes I fall off but I just get back on again. That's all I can do if I want to meet my goal. No one is going to lose the weight for me. I gained a little this morning but haven't been doing this for long so I'm not letting it get me down.0
