My feet, ankles, and caves aren't very happy with me today.
What's the best advice for pushing through the pain?
What's the quickest way to make them stop screaming at me?

Don't push through the pain if something doesn't feel right.
Follow PRICE; Protect, Rest, Ice, Compress and Elevate if needed.0 -
I would suggest upping your fluid intake a little bit, stretching out your legs, and maybe doing some light cardio such as going for a walk but don't push too far if you are in pain.
Are you sore or in pain?0 -
you don't have to go from 0 - 100 overnight...you should ease into exercise...yes, it's normal to be a bit sore, but you shouldn't be having to "push through the pain"...0

Rest for 24-48 hours and then get back at it.
Ice probably won't do any good and may delay recovery, so says the guy that coined the term RICE.

What wolfman said. part of what ive learned is the cliche listen to your body. Some soreness might go with things because youve exercised, so you need to be able to identify whats normal (doms, fatigue) from the biggy which would be a potential injury.
Soreness I might go with up to a point. Actual pain, then id stop and rest, especially if it was pishing me into unsafe territory or an injury. Wind down give it 24h and see if you recover. As troutsy pointed out being hydrated and fueled also helps.0 -
Depends on how much pain you're in. If it's really bad, take a rest day. Don't do too much too soon, most people burn out quickly that way.0

I drink a minimum of 8 glasses of water a day.
I will take everyone's advice and rest today. I tried doing my walks this morning when I found out how sore I was, which my feet and calves are sore, but my left ankles was more painful than just sore. I skipped doing my lunch routine so hopefully by tomorrow I'll be back on my feet!
Thanks everyone for their advice!0
