What motivates you?

Some days my brain talks me out of exercising. What motivates you to get past the mental battle?

That would be doing what I actually like doing to exercise. I run (or walk if I'm hurt). That's it. That's all I do. That's all I like. If you like swimming, do that. If you like jumping rope, then cool. If you like walking the dog or with the kids in the stroller, there you go. And I always ask, "What can you see yourself doing in 10 years?". Do you see yourself biking with your kids or doing aerobics? Do that thing. It's so much easier to work out when you actually want to work out.
Best of luck!

going to my gym which always has a new different workout with trainers/ people I look forward to seeing. Before that I pretty much hated exercise.0

What motivates me?
I remind myself how good I feel after a good workout.
I remind myself that I am reducing my risk of several types of cancer.
I remind myself that I want to be able to do things with my family that I couldn't. I'd rather go with them on that long bike ride than stay at home.0 -
