Hi, I'm Beth. I'm taking a Community College nutrition class and one of the assignments is to create and analyze a food diary. So I figured I might as well get my money's worth and see if I can lose some weight while I'm earning my "A". As a basic dietary framework I use Joel Furhman's "Eat to Live" book. It's intense, but it is also based on eating the most nutrient-rich diet possible with a goal towards lifelong good health. I have 60 pounds to lose. 20 of those are extra weight I've carried almost my entire adult life. 40 of those I gained within the past 3 year. Menopause -- it isn't for sissies! lol. It would be great to meet a kindred spirit on this board. Wishing everyone all the best! -- Beth
