On a long journey

Hi everyone. My name is Becca. I'm new to MFP. I weighed 370lbs, had trouble walking up 2 flights of stairs, was borderline diabetic, and was totally disgusted with how I looked and felt. I have tried many diet fads in the past and could lose the weight, but never keep it off long term and would eventually gain back what I lost, plus more. This time I wanted real change so I joined a physician assisted program and have learned to make lifestyle changes versus looking for a quick fix. One of those changes happens to be using MFP to journal what I eat. It's been almost 12 weeks and I've lost 36lbs. I know I have a long journey to go and at this point I can only take one day at a time. But at least now I'm making better food choices and exercising. Best of luck to everyone on the path to being healthier individuals.
