Has anyone tried PowerFit or other Vibration Exercise machines? I just saw the ad and they seem great.
Do these machines really burn so many calories in less time without the person even breaking into a sweat?
Am I missing something?

Probably marginally better than not using them but you could easily out-eat the losses. It's the difference between standing and standing on a train. The latter requires a little bit more effort to stand but not that much. I suppose you could sit on it and watch TV all day to burn an extra 100 calories from sitting?

Thanks for replying. The ad claimed that 10 mins in the "running" mode actually burns more calories than 30 mins of actually running. They checked it with a calorie counter and all.
Ummm....I am not sure what to think now!
