do you update your ticker and goals? I know you should update every time you gain or lose weight, but do you? if you gain weight, do you update it, or do you hold off for a while to see if it will come back off?

I update whenever something, anything changes....weekly. I weigh in once a week, it I go up I change it, if I lose I change it.0

It really depends on how much I gain back if I change my ticker. If I know that I gained more than 3 pounds, I'll reset it. And if I lose about half a pound, I usually update it.0

I weigh weekly (always Sunday first thing in the a.m.) and always update my goals even if it's only a pound up or down but I'm really particular like that....0

I think my ticker updates itself, I have never checked! LOL
I update my weight in my siggy whenever I lose a whole pound. If I gain it, I leave the ticker alone. I suppose adding that weight to the signature would be more motivation to work at it, but the shame works, too.0 -
I update it every week orso if it go's up or down.0

I've recently decided that I am going to "check in" once a week and record both my losses and gains. I might not always like what I see but I think that will help keep me in line0

I 'weigh-in' once a week. When you hit a ten pound loss MFP asks you if you want to reset your goals.0

It asked me for the first time today, and I got a little giddy! LOL0 -

I weigh in once a week, just joined so I have not posted gains or losses, I weigh Friday morning. You must post gains as well as losses. Being honest with yourself is the key to all of this. That goes for calorie counting too.0

My weight typically fluctuates about 6lbs up and down like clockwork practically.. I record the lowest but not the highest because I'd be changing it weekly if I did. Lol. If my lowest does not show up after a month or so, then I record the gain. I have mostly fitness goals now so I don't worry too much about actual weight.0

I always update when it goes down....immediately it's fun to see the lowest number...and then i don't update again until i see a lower number (becomes sometime it does fluctuate up...but I just wait til it goes down again )0
