I thought a few meant two? It means Three or four? How many weeks?

Anyway safe weight loss is 1-2lb. Much harder to o higher than that unless you have a lot to lose. be sure to keep your target sustainable and realistic. Its common that people new to dieting overestimate the amount they will lose at or wish to lose at.

A couple is two and a few is about 3-5. And September is in 3 months. So I think it's 13 weeks until my birthday. If I can lose 2lb a week I might be able to do it

Not impossible, but please manage your expectations. We often see people seting themself targets , which can then add to the stress and frustration when they are not met. Your rate of loss will slow the less you have to lose, so dont be fooled by large initial weight loss as a lot of that will be water weight.

Thanks for the advice! The 30 by 30 is a starting point and when I broke it down into weeks I see that I might want to give myself a little more time. That is more of a stepping stone in the journey to my true goal. Which is to be happy, healthy, and a good role model for my children.

Well good luck, you can 100% do it and the process is straightforward as well as the things that might throw you off course are predictable. Try and commit then keep yourself focused so that you staret and complete the journey you want. Start with small steps and just take it one day at a time. Use the forums if you dont understand and be your own best friend.
