Original Jawbone Up

Does anybody have experience with the original Jawbone Up? They're about $40 on Amazon right now. I know you have to plug them into the headphone jack. Will they actually wake you up? Are they reasonably consistent, if not accurate?

    Mine just died a few days ago. I liked it was a great starter for me. I didn't use the alarm feature really but it does vibrate say like your phone so I would just say depends on how you sleep on will it actually wake you up. And yes it was fairly accurate.
