Everything sounds disgusting

I'm up a wall here. I'm getting over being sick at the moment, and I need to be eating something, at least, but everything I try to eat just seems awful. It makes me feel even sicker. Nauseous. Just the thought of eating makes my stomach churn. Any ideas what to do?

Chicken soup. Or no food for now, just liquids.0

Morning/first trimester sickness??
I didn't take it that way but I'm a dude. What do I know about crap like that?0 -
What about a warm tea?0

7Up is the only thing I can handle when I feel like that. I don't worry about eating.0

Yeah, I can do fluids, and no, definitely not pregnant. I'm getting over kind of a nasty cold. My appetite has been reduced for most of it, but now I don't even want to consider eating anything. So I think I'll just try to see if I can't sleep through it.0

Gatorade or flat lemonade, and a lot of sleep.0

Brothy soup (electrolytes, come on)
Rice, or a piece of toast with a bit of butter, or crackers - you need energy to fight this thing0 -
I had norovirus about three weeks ago and believe me I understand where you are coming from. Look for clear broth-based soups, rice or rice pudding, bananas, applesauce, plain crackers, buttered toast, tea with a bit of honey... mashed potatoes can be good. Don't worry so much about calorie goals for now, just work on getting better and getting lots of rest.0

BRAT -- banana, then rice, then applesauce, then toast.0

Rice pudding. The only thing that my tummy allows when I have been ill.0
-
Ginger ale, tea, toast, crackers. Chicken broth with rice.0

+1
Ginger anything helps with nausea.0 -
If I'm I'll and not feeling up to food I find cup a soup quite helpful. It's easy enough to get down (being mostly water!) but at least it's something0
-
Ginger ale, specifically Vernors if you have it in your area.0
