Help! Stretch marks

from on and off dieting I've got a tonne of stretch marks.
I've lost a stone and a half, and they're only getting worse.
Anyone got any tips that have worked for them?
And please no bio oil suggestions, been using it for a year and it doesn't work.

Time fades them. I believe you can have a plastic surgeon blast them away. I've learned to live with my free lightning tattoos.

Unfortunately there's very little that can be done. They may fade slightly over time, they may not. I'd be wary of any miracle creams or oils tauting stretch mark erasing qualities. Just be nice to your skin and stay moisturized.

I have been using Aveno intensive night face cream on my stomach. It works good on my face - so I am trying it on my stomach. Unfortunately, it is one of those things that if you stop using the cream - everything goes back to normal.

I will update in a few more days.

as they've said, unfortunately you can't really get rid of them. They will fade over time, I have a lot of them from fluctuating weight and some you can hardly even tell they're there. Can try using some kinds of stretch mark creams but definitely at least try some kind of lotions or something to keep your skin moisturized and it may help.

Stretch marks are actually scars. You may be able to take steps to minimize them when they first happen, but there's not much you can do on your own once they are there. A plastic surgeon can treat them, but that's time consuming and can be expensive. Having a tan will help to camouflage them, as will drinking water to ensure your skin stays hydrated.

Pic is of my arm, bearish the elbow. Stretch mark city!!
I got a bunch from puberty (THANKS puberty!!!) and they are very faint and slightly more silvery than the rest of me, so time does fade them (I've never done a thing to help em)

You can see my skin tone in my profile pic. I'm fair, but with yellow undertones.

I have tons too, thin and silvery, I've just gotten used to them. Keep your skin well moisturized, it won't get rid of them but the skin will look better in general. Spray tan can help blend them in, regular tanning did not work, actually made them more noticeable as they stayed white as the rest of my skin tanned.

Time will fade them, but they never really go away.

Give me the light silvery ones any day... I have stretch marks on my stomach with wrinkles and scars so deep, it puts me in mind of Tommy Lee Jones.

I learned to love my stretch marks a long time ago (and I'm confident enough to wear a bikini) but since I've lost weight I avoid looking down when I'm leaning over because weight loss deflates me like a balloon... However, I ALSO know that this exact same thing happened after I gave birth (twice), and over time my skin recovers and I'll look a lot better in my birthday suit. In the meantime, I'll happily settle for looking amazing with my clothes on.
