What is your favorite exercise device, i.e., Fitbit, Garmin, etc., and why. I want to get one, but not sure which is the better one.

Tracking devices? Depends on goals and activity types.

    Go see dcrainmaker.com for reviews.

I use a polar V800 activity tracker, it's one of the higher end ones. It tracks steps has gps, and keeps you're calories separate, IE: activity, training and bmr. it's water proof to 100ft and with the H7 sensor it displays your heart rate on most cardio equipment. They make a less expensive models, the A300 (no gps, waterproof with HRM capabilities under water) the M400 (gps, waterproof, no HRM capabilities under water) and the Loop (no gps, no hrm capabilities under water). they all can be pared with the H7 HRM. Here's an article about their accuracy.

For a all day activity tracker I prefer my Garmin Vivofit 2 as it does a great job of accurately tracking my steps, miles, and sleep pattern. However, I am not finding that the HRM part is as accurate as it should be and have since switched to using my Polar FT 7 for all cardio workouts that I do.
