Food Prepping?

I currently buy the weight watcher meals for my dinners as i find dinner time is my problem area when it comes to food (portion/calorie control), but am now wanting to start food prepping my dinners for the week instead. I consume 1400cals a day and i'm attending the gym to lose weight (I have about 25kg to lose). So i'm wondering what needs to be added in my meal aside from low calories, such as protein, carbs or fats etc.? I'm just not sure what I need to calculate when preparing the meal? I hope that makes sense.

Get enough protein, try to get enough fats, don't worry about the carbs and sugars either way.
Make the same foods you were eating frozen-- except home made.

Cook what you find delicious and fits your calories, doesn't have to be more complicated than that :)
Me, I cook about twice a week and divide my meals into plastic containers that I have sitting in my fridge for the entire week. This is great when you need it, and also leaves room to put a box in the freezer if you want to cook something else one evening :)
