When I weighed myself this past week it said I had lost a couple lbs. When I get on the scale today seems like they came back. I'm not sure. Was wondering if it has something to do with maybe being on my cycle? Unless I just gained muscle. I know muscle weighs more than fat. Was wondering if someone could help me with this.

you will put on water weight at that time of the month, but it's also normally to fluctuate your weight during the day and during the week
noone can say for sure what it is - it could be water weight, could be muscle (though doubt you gained that much muscle in a day or two), could just be normal fluctuations0 -
Most likely just water weight. It takes a lot of hard work, VERY clean eating and often a caloric excess to build muscle. And it certainly doesn't happen overnight.0

For me TOM is absolutely a factor. You know the old addage about feeling bloated... there's a scientific reason and it appears on the scale for most of us ladies. You just deal with it don't dwell and move forward. Don't let it discourage you. You are also correct it could be muscle gain and it could be from increased water consumption.0
