Hi, I have been counting calories and exercising since 5/4/15 @307lbs I weighed at the Dr. on 6/4/15@295lbs. This was great as I was at the start of my goal less than 300lbs. Butttt from last week to this week I am at 297lbs where did these 2lbs come from and what can I do to get rid of them. Im scared that I’m going to see 300lbs again by next week!!

Sometimes gaining is just normal flux, make sure you are weighing yourself at the same time and dressed the same as well. Do you always weigh in at the doctors or was that a new scare for you. All scales are not built the same and your Doctors is just probably more accurate. Don't worry about it and way yourself regularly.0

It was at different times different scale, so your probably right, thanks. I think it might as well be water retention. Just started drinking the daily required amounts and can some what feel a difference. Hopefully when I weigh this week I will see a decrease

My weight fluctuates a little (a pound or so) throughout each day. I weight myself naked each morning before my shower, and that way I can really tell if there have been any changes.0

OK I'm going to try that, thanks0 -
What they said. Make sure it's the same time and same clothing (or not) however I would only weigh once a week. Also drink plenty of water and weigh your food.0

Weight can fluctuate more than 2lbs in a day. It can also do that in the week, depending on your dietary habits. During the month of May I decided I was going to loose weight again and started working fiber into my diet. Something quite painful if you jumped into it like I did. But my head still wasn't in it. I finally decided I needed to come back to mfp and on June 1st I flipped my new life switch. The second day my body rebelled. I had so many bowel movements that I was nearly in tears by the end of the day. I dropped 3.8lbs that day. Of course I was going to gain weight back. I knew it was going to happen. So when my body has moments like that (not to that extreme, thank god) I know that it's reasonable to be a little heaver the next day.
When I wake up, I go to the bathroom then I step on the scale nude. Even with this, if it is not the same time of day it makes a difference. But this is the weight that I set my progress by. I know what I weigh at the doctor's office is a guide for them, not me.
This is my current progress. Feel free to add me as a friend if you'd like.

Always compare weight from same scale, same time of day, similar amount of clothing if possible. Weighing on different scales and times can drive you crazy. Even then, your weight will fluctuate based on water weight, exercise, and the types of food you've eaten.0

First thing in the morning, pre-liquids/shower and post-bathroom. Realize that as a woman, you might see crazy fluctuations. Additionally, if you have an especially carb-heavy or sodium-heavy day, you might have water weight hanging around. If you've started an exercise program, your muscles might retain water--I stalled for 2-3 weeks when I started running.
I assume you're using a food scale and are staying within your calorie goal. If you are, realize that any scale tick upwards is just a result of the above factors. Good job on the loss so far!0 -
I definitely feel like its water weight on me, I just started drinking the amount of water I'm supposed to drink daily, bad part about that is I'm up every 2hourz during the night going to empty my bladder0
