Extra calories

If i exercise regular and add the calories burned onto my fitness app it then adds them onto my available calories. Is it best to eat the extra calories or leave them for extra weight loss or does it not matter?

MFP intends for you to eat them back. You might start with half though-- personally I ate back every single one and still lost at the rate MFP predicted but I know a lot of people say MFP overestimates your burns. If you're getting crazy high ones like 1000+ calories per hour or if you're not weighing your food I probably wouldn't eat back all of them. But if you do weigh everything you eat and your burns are more reasonable then I'd eat them back.

I previously was succesful with my fitness pal (before i got pregnant) and i always ate 100-200 of my extra calories. On average i was burning 600 daily and i lost 30lbs in about 4-5 months. Hope this helps, good luck0
