I threw this together for my lunch this morning. while i was waiting for my kettle to finish so i could make my morning green tea.
I didnt want to call this cabbage soup to be mistaken for The cabbage soup diet. It is just soup that i made.

1 cup of cabbage
half of a red onion
3 mushrooms
1 clove of garlic
50g of left over pork tenderloin that i had bbq the other day
3 cups of fat free, low sodium chicken stock
2 cups of water
1 star of anise

I thinly sliced everything and cooked on high for 10 minutes then i let it simmer for an hour or so
it makes 2 full bowls of soup and it is only 150 calories!

150 calories for both bowls i might add. :)

Add some hot sauce, a squirt of lemon or whatever spices you like to it to make it your own.
it tastes good!
I will be making this again when i know my dinner will be higher then normal in calories.
