I was just curious to know at what point youall started to drop a size.
So far I have lost 33lbs since getting serous about losing weight but, whilst my clothes are looking loose now, I'm still in the same clothing despite being over 2 stone lighter. It's a bit disheartening to be honest!

It depends on your starting weight, 100%.

    I'm a size 10 between 148-165. 12lbs between top and bottom.

    I'm an 8 between 138-147. 9lbs.

    I'm a 6 between 130-138. 8lbs.

    I'm a 4 between 125-129. 4lbs.

    I'm a 2 between 121-124. 2lbs.

Same things happen with waist measurements.

(BTW, these are CURRENT off-the-rack sizes, not sizes from 10 or 20 years ago, which were very different. A 2 today was a 6 20 years ago.)

I'm down 23 lbs and still wearing a 14 in pants although they are loose, the 12's I bought don't fit yet.

My tops are still xxl and xl.

So looser clothes but not smaller yet.

I've lost 2 and a half and only gone down one dress size I was disheartened but I went from a tight size uk18 to a well fitted/ loose-ish uk16 so I thi it's more like 2 sizes if you get what I mean lol

Do yourself a favor and go try on some clothes. You'll be surprised as to what you can fit in. If the clothes you currently have are loose, then you've lost a size at least.
I was shocked the first time I went shopping after losing 30 lbs. I was down 4 sizes and didn't even know it. I wondering why people at work told me my pants looked baggy :)

Thanks for the responses guys! Guess I'll have to get all my pre pregnancy clothes out from under the bed and see what fits now.
What I've lost has come from all different places so I guess it's not crazy to assume that my clothes size hasn't changed that much yet

Yeah the larger you are the more you have to lose to drop a size. I fit from 8-10 now. But my eights feel better now than before I started losing. Still no significant changes.

    150 pounds: size 10/12
130 pounds: size 4/6/8 (depends on the dress, plus the boobs come into play)

    Hope that helps!

When I was very heavy, it was around 35 lbs. Now, while I still have 30 lbs. to lose, it's around 10-15 lbs.

    Back in 2010 I noticed I dropped a size after I lost 20 - 25 pounds.
