I DONT UNDERSTAND: WHEN I use other websites just to find out how many calories I need to eat without exercise to lose 2lbs a week it gives me "Your calorie goal is 1628 a day" or more. ... on here it gives me only 1300. What is the deal....which one is accurate?

I think the calorie goal on here also calculates in whatever fitness goals you set?0

I don't get any difference in cals allowed when changing fitness goals have tried it both with no goals and with goals.
As for which is right, no idea0 -
Something is definitely wrong with mine too.
This site says i need 2,116 a day. My dietician says i need 3,200 a day.
No wonder we are confused when we cant get a concrete answer...0 -

Is your calorie limit 1200 by any chance? This site will not let you go below this limit no matter what level your goals are set to. This is to avoid starvation mode.0 -
For me, outside sources were more accurate. I was eating 2000 cal/day to lose, but MFP was prescribing something like 1400 cal/day. MFP gives some ballpark numbers. If you can come up with your own numbers from external sources, that's even better in my opinion.0
