hello all i am a new to this site and wanted to introduce myself i am 35 white male from las cruces new mexico i have been having trouble losing weight and since i lost my leg i need to lose weight so i wont have so much weight on my right leg and for my proestic leg. I am currtly staying at a rehab center i could use some encouragement and surport system since i dont really have a surport system.

Hey there! I am so sorry to hear about losing your leg. Keep checking the website here, participate and you will have lots of encouragement. I have been keeping track of my food since Sept last year. I lost 14 lbs with 2 1/2 months but have been stuck there ever since. So I got a Fitbit activity tracker and it is GREAT motivation for me to get at least 30 min of brisk walking and 10,000 steps in a day. I have lost 2 more lbs in the past 2 weeks! Whatever you do, just don't give up. Now that I eat less, I don't want as much food as I used to eat. I really didn't know what a serving size was. That's been one of the best things for me. I eat a "serving size" and find I am perfectly happy with that. Like 1 scoop of ice cream in a tiny bowl instead of 2 scoops in a bigger bowl. Good Luck!!!
