It's "coach [potato] to 5k" - you can google it to get full details on how to start running safely.0
-
It means Couch 2 5 k. It is an app that you can put on your phone that trains you to run 5Km.0

couch 2 5k.....in other words going from a couch potato to being able to run a 5 k. hope this helps0
-
It is an app for your phone or ipod (but can be a podcast for mp3 player) that will have set intervals that alternate between running/jogging and walking for 30 minutes at a time.0
-
It's couch to 5K training program. There's a lot of applications for smart phones or you can find them on the web0

C25K is Couch 2 5k.
It is usually a 9 week training plan to help you run a 5k (3.1 mile) race.
I have been on it for 7 weeks. I love it.0 -
"Couch to 5k" & there is a web, if you don't have the fancy-schmancy phone! (Like me!) :ohwell:0

It does really work! Last fall, several of my very non-athletic friends and I completed it, and ran a 5k together. I have never, ever, ever been a runner, but I did it! 5k without walking! If I can do it, anyone can--trust me on that! I am now working on the Ease into 10k program. It is such a challenge for me, but I really like it! I have several 5k's planned in the next couple of months to keep myself on track (not quite ready for a 10k yet). You can do it!0

What's google?! I've never heard of this magical site before.0 -
This has just started in my area ... and I begin today!0

Just checked out your blog - I am so impressed at your nerve. I can't say that I will be so brave. I start C25K today (it's raining ... but that's not unusual for the UK!)0
-
Well my start on this NHS community run was cancelled by heavy rain. However, I still attempted W1D1 with my Wii - Island Run followed by walk/jog sessions. Within the confines of my lounge, dining room and kitchen, I managed 15 minutes. Here's hoping the rain is gone by Saturday, when I will attempt it outside.0

I'm starting C25K.
I (foolishly) signed up to do a 5km charity run at the end of August for the "Injured Jockeys Fund".
I signed up to do it because a friend of mine who is an amateur jockey suffered serious head injuries in a fall from a horse.0 -
