I need to find an exercise for me

Long story short, I have a slipped spinal disk from a car accident plus a bad left wrist from childhood injury. It hurts when I put too much pressure on it.

I used to love running and weight training, but doctors don't recommend me doing them anymore.

I'd like to find an exercise I can do for free. My husband and I are on a budget so I can't join a gym or swimming pool (they are expensive here in Taiwan). I tried yoga, but some postures require pressure on my wrist. I tried Zumba, but I'm very uncoordinated. Also tried the resistance bands but I keep breaking them.

Suggestions?

Walking! I've got back issues and that is one activity I can consistent do... Just a matter of how long I walk on a given day.

You can still do yoga, too! I have a tremendously weak wrist, bad hips, a screw in my foot, and a kidney transplant (among other things). I do my fair share of modifications, and I've started noticing that I can definitely do things now that I didn't think my body could do even a month ago. It takes a little extra research, but I'm feeling better for it. I also walk whenever it would take me less than an hour to get somewhere. Same amount of time as public transportation or less!
