I go to school and work part time and I'm terrified of driving so I have to take the bus. I barely have enough time to eat. I never eat lunch I just snak through out the day. Any good snacks ideas I can take with me that are healthy, filling and pack a lot of protein. I can't take a lot with me because carrying too much in my bag hurts my back. Help I'm always hungry because I rarely get more than 1200 calories.

Nuts, Fruit, making your own protean bars for the week, and other snacks, maybe Sundays can be your prep day. You can also make egg muffins filled with veggies and freeze them so in the morning you just grab and go and there is your breakfast.

Eat in the mornings and evenings. You don't have to eat during the day if you are too busy. Have bigger meals morning and night, or just at night, or just in the morning.

On the go egg muffins: You can put whatever kind of veggie, meat and or cheese in these.
Make a bunch ahead of time, wrap them and put them in your freezer, than just grap and go.

6 eggs whisk with some cheese, salt, pepper one or two tablespoons milk and what ever veggies you want. I put kale, spinach, onion, garlic, peppers zucchini and mushrooms, you saute the veggies in some olive oil then add to the the egg mixture and I used a ice cream scoop to fill the muffin try, makes 10 cook in oven for 20 min. oven temp 350

Plan your meals. prepare your meals. you can eat more, its not hard. if you struggle to hit protein numbers, plan your meals by putting in the protein first.

eat bigger meals when you have time - breakfast and dinner. not sure how much food you think you need during the day to make your bag so heavy....take a container of meat and salad for lunch drizzled with olive oil. a few hb eggs are easy to transport and provide good amounts of protein and fat. protein shakes - just take the powder and shake it up. a couple of pieces of fruit, bag of nuts, beef jerky.

Peanut butter and chocolate smoothie for breakfast (add some pb, baking cocoa--the powder kind, banana, plain yogurt or milk, honey, protein powder, etc.). Depending upon what you put in it, it could quite possibly have enough calories for the entire day.

You said you do not have time to eat. Perhaps after work you have time to eat.

I do protein shakes in the morning and night mixed with kale, berries, cashew milk and whatever else you want. Premier protein has 25G of protein and only 160calories, so it packs a nice punch. I also take supplements, rainbow nutritional complete system. For on the go I bring 100cal packs of almonds, sometimes vega protein bars, carrots, egg whites in a container, which think was noted above, and veggies cut up. I fly a lot and am never sure what will be available, so I feel you. Good luck!!!
