Does anyone know how you would calculate calories burnt if you run with a stroller? Just curious to know

I don't. Personally, I just consider it a bonus. It will add some but not enough to make or break you, especially if you have a good running stroller since they are pretty efficient.

If you have a app that tells you your calories burnt and distance ran while your running, really it shouldn't be any different than running without one if I had to guess. I have a nike app and I use it when I run but my wife uses it as well for her walks and it calculates distance and calories the same if you were running or jogging.

I think OP was looking to account for the extra energy exerted pushing the stroller

With a decent, lightweight stroller you shouldn't burn many additional calories. I used to run with a very heavy baby in an out n about nipper 360 and barely used any effort to move the pram as it went with my momentum. I actually found running with the pram easier than without

Sorry to say... the difference is fairly insignificant (5%?) except for running up hill. Then the difference is significant but unless you are running up miles of hills, the difference remains insignificant.

The major difference the stroller makes is it alters your running form but that again isn't going to affect your calorie burn enough to be concerned about.

I ran with my kids in a purpose built running stroller (1 kid) and a Chariot bike trailer converted (2 kids) for quite a few years. Great times.

Oops my fault, didn't know she meant extra calories. But yes I guess unless your running uphill or the stroller weight 200 pounds, I don't think it would be that many more burned.

Use a heart rate monitor. I ran a lot when my girls were little and find that the adder is significant. Even with a good quality stroller and 25# kid even gentle climbs could make my heart try to jump out my mouth.
