Has anyone, tried the 80/20 plan? I have just recently started this for myself, with the help with MFP I can keep track of what I am really eating by being very honest. I actually don't feel like I am starving or missing out on food. I am however making a more conscious effort to be aware of what I am eating. I haven't lost any weight as of yet but I feel so much better. I've also cut out a lot of the diet soda, I use to keep around too.

Pointless diet in my eyes. There is a search feature, you could've looked at a previous thread with this.

You can do high fat (healthy fats) if you lower your carbs a lot and increase protein. It's either fats or carbs which you need to pick.

There are lots of different diet methods out there, try a few methods and stick with what works

It's a good way to maintain satiety if you are also calorie counting.

    Without counting, it's pretty pointless.

The whole point of the 80/20 plan is that you don't count calories.

That said, I think it would be too easy to exceed your daily caloric need.
