How often do you weight yourself?

I just read an article on Yahoo, about a recent Cornell Study that found that people that weight themselves daily were more prone to keep the weight loss.
Here is a link to the article: https://www.yahoo.com/health/how-often-you-should-weigh-yourself-if-youre-121841681642.html
I like to weight myself weekly, I did try to do it daily once, but found the daily fluctuation a bit annoying, but hey perhaps, I will give it a try once more.... how about you, how often do you weight yourself?

Does the happy scale always give you happy results?0 -
Daily for me, but I also keep the log so I can review and analyze.0

Every Thursday, again on Friday morning if Thursday showed a gain.0

Everyday.0

every day keeping in mind that weight does change and it does go up and down. and that a trend is important

i weigh daily and log it once a week0

Every day usually.0

Every day, using weightmeter to log. Once a week, usually on saturday, I update the MFP weight. I can follow my weekly and overall trends. If you want to track daily, use an app that will let you see the trend and don't pay attention to daily fluctuations, only focus on the overall trend for the last few weeks.0

Everyday but I'm conditioned not to expect it to go down every day. I chart my weight in MFP and as long as trend is downward I'm making progress.0

That sounds very plausible.0 -
every morning...0

Everyday. I have an aria scale, so I step on first thing after going to the bathroom in the morning and it updates my weight for me. I also, check trendweight.com every couple days to make sure that the overall trend is going in the right direction.0

Is in the morning best? This is my 1st week of dieting and not sure whether to wait till after a couple of weeks as not sure if I'll have lost much in 1 week.0

Everyday, sometimes more. I am curious about it after I eat or exercise. I only pay attention to my first thing in the morning weight for logging.0

I usually weigh in the morning, after using the bathroom (and nursing, cause I am) and before I eat.0

You might be surprised! My first week of tracking I lost like 3 pounds.
I feel it's best for me to weigh int he morning. By the end of the day I tend to feel bloated.0 -

Lightest weight is typically first thing in the morning after using the bathroom and naked. It typically has the least amount of variables since clothing, food, water, waste, etc can all show on the scale and for most will vary from day to day.
How often you weigh is up to you. If you want to know when your holding onto water then more frequent weigh-in's are better for that. If you will get upset if you see a slight gain, then less frequent weighs might be better. If you want to see 2-4 lbs losses at a time then maybe once a month would be best (you don't look like you have a lot to lose and that typically means slower loss).0 -
Every single day, first thing after I wake up and pee. Wish I could poop first thing, but that doesn't happen until after breakfast.0

Yeah, I know, TMI.0

Thanks everyone, just trying to lose the last few pounds, I was a stone and a half heavier a few years ago and managed to lose it and maintain that loss but in the past year I've felt my weight creeping up again.0

I weight myself on Mondays and Fridays because I should drop a pound a week based on my diet and exercise.0
