Pinched Nerve & Working Out

Okay - so I posted the other day about muscle soreness/working out. I ended up going and working out on top of being sore, and like a lot of people suggested, light cardio actually helped. I've worked out a few times since then, and most soreness has subside but a specific spot on my back is killing me. Think I have a pinched nerve from pushing it a little too hard with the crazy yoga poses. I don't want this to alter my work-out and I can push through the pain, but I'm wondering if this is kosher or not. Just want to make sure I'm not going to injure something.

I head to the chiropractor when that happens. I also still do yoga but paying very close attention to my body's response and avoiding any poses that prompt a stress response. It is more sbout tension release and gentle flexibility than strength and flexibility.

I was thinking about heading to the chiropractor. If it doesn't ease up in a week, I very well may. So basically, I should still work out but take it easy while healing?

Have you seen a Dr and figured out what exactly is going on? Personally I wouldn't train with something going on that hasn't been diagnosed.

If it's a sore spot in your back, you probably pulled muscle. Nerve pain is a sudden, sharp, radiating pain, like being stabbed. And it's usually not where you're actually hurt.

Exactly like you described. Hurts when I take deep breaths, very sharp pain. Any quick movement.

Definitely want to see Doc before continuing and if it is in fact, a pinched nerve, a little PT can help that.

I would see a doctor. If it is a nerve problem, it's better to find that out sooner than later.
