This is what I have. One is a 14 and the other is a 10. I just think they are adorable. Now I need to get my confidence up enough to wear them I bought the 10 to wear in Hawaii in September. I guess we'll see....
They're adorable!! I bet you'll look great in them )0 -

I like the aqua color one..0 -
The aqua is my favorite too. I can't wait until I can actually wear it. Ahhh. Soon.0

They only look good on curvy girls like the one in your first pic. They look ridiculous if you don't have those nice curves.0

What goes around, comes around. They're nothing more than updated suits from the late 50s early 60s (I otta know)! P.S. Some of them are cute!0

It almost looks like a one suite. She might as well wear a one suit, she saves money and get's more fabric that way.0 -
I think they're cute. But they make me look bigger (take a look at the hideous one in my profile pic before I lost weight!), but even at my lower weight, those bottoms are not flattering. And it messes up the tan line.0

The only ones that I like are the vintage looking ones, especially the red polka-dot one that you have pictured. I don't see myself ever wearing one though.0

Very Retro! Like, a Blast From The Past, Man! I think they are super cute. And they look like they would stay on better playing around in the surf or skiing behind a boat.0

If we are going to be honest, I would have to agree with him if he is saying that it looks better on a person with a flat stomach.

I couldn't get the same suit, but you can use your imagination if you insist.

or the curvy
Read the reviews on this polka dot suit, it runs tiny. So the Asian "curvy" sizing is vastly different from the US-UK "curvy" sizing. Just wanted to point that out....and ya, I was totally sold on this until I read the fitting/sizing comments.

is that your own picture of yourself in that bikini or did you just take some random womens picture to post on here and declare her unattractive and not worthy to wear the bathing suit she wants to wear?0 -
I have the worlds shortest torso, my hips top out where my ribs start. If I wore that, you'd think I was wearing a whole piece suit0
-
I would personally prefer some random women's picture than all those perfect body models that are wearing high waisted bikini's. In my opinion there are going to be very few women that can wear them well. I perfer realisim, instead of hype. They are just trying to sell new swimsuit models creating interest. Tan lines are going to be a nightmare.0

Read my post again. Attraction is subjective, so I could never declare either girl as "unattractive", and even if I did, for anyone to believe me is just absurd. I can't imagine anyone being "not worthy" of wearing a piece of cloth, lol, are you serious? Are we not allowed to state an opinion on this matter? If I have violated a rule, let me know so that I can correct it, I didn't read the forum rules to its entirety....no, I will be honest, I didn't read it at all, but I am willing to abide by them, just let me know.0 -

Maybe she likes fashion. Maybe she likes to pee without pulling off an entire suit. Maybe she likes the feel of the sun on her tummy
I think any model would look good in any suit. It's nice that women now have choices. I remember a time when your butt hung out the back or nothing. I like mixing it up (I live at the beach in the summer).arditarose wrote: »I think they're cute. Wow you've done a great job! You look fabulous. I agree that the high waisted isn;t your finest look.
To the people worried about tan lines, do you only own 1 suit? Switch up your suits every other day.

I think a moderate rise bikini is actually more flattering to most body types. The high waisted bottoms actually draw more attention to the tummy and tush, but not in the most flattering way. They tend to make the butt look larger...not round and shapely, but rather long and flat...or the dreaded "diaper" effect. And most women look better with a suit that cuts across the stomach, a bit below the navel, as long as it is not so tight that it creates a muffin top (a wide band below the belly button can actually help flatten a "poochy" belly.) Some of the high-waisted "retro" suits can look a bit costumey, which is fine if that is the intent. For me, my biggest issue is that this style of suit also tends to have a more modest, lower, cut through the legs, which truncates my already short legs making me look even stumpier than I am.0

I have the suit with the white polka dots. I liked the way it looked on me before I saw how it is supposed to look
