You probably don't want to hear it. But this is the truth. Fat rolls are fat... the only way to get rid of fat, is diet and exercise, there is no "special" exercise that will get rid of them besides cardio. Resistance training, for example crunches and side bends, are used to tone the muscles. Fat isn't a muscle. So that stuff won't work.0

you can do side crunches and what to tone the muscle, but you need to do cardio to burn the fat. and you can't target a specific area to burn fat unfortunately. do the crunches, and as the fat starts to go away, the toned muscles will make their grand appearance!!0

Oh of course, I know that... I am on a diet, and exercising, but I am not seeing results.0

Exercise will see them go down, you cant target certain areas like that, sure you can target muscle growth in those areas by certain exercises but the only true way is burn fat and let it burn off all over your body, they will go down in size over time...theres no such thing as a quick way of fixing certain body parts unless your already pretty good shape then just tone up those areas abit too.0

If you're not seeing results, then you have to reevaluate your diet if you're exercising already. Side crunches and exercises like that. Will make you gain muscle in that area making them BIGGER, you want that? haha no. I am going to check your diary, if it's open, and see.0 -
Okay your diary isn't open for viewing so I can't see what you're eating. I did see you say on your profile that you're going to be on a diet from january till.....?!?!? (i don't remeber) that's not the way to do it. When you come off the diet you'll gain more weight than when you started. You have to make a life style change, to maintain permanent weight loss.0

Get yourself to a Pilates class0

...I see from your profile that you've been at this about a month. And that you've lost 6 pounds. Congratulations!
You are seeing the results you should expect to see after a month. Side rolls won't disappear in a month/6 lbs. I think you need to re-orient your expectations. Your profile suggests your goal is to lose 80 pounds. You can do it! But its going to take consistent and, yes, sometimes small steps to get there (you're young...so maybe you'll have a somewhat easier time than the average MFP'er, but 80 pounds is still 80 pounds!).
Unrealistic expectations will only serve to destroy your motivation and resolve. And you want to lose the weight for good, right? So just keep at it. Slow and steady. Diet and exercise. The side rolls will eventually get smaller with the rest of you.0 -
Hi Tatiana,
First off well done for losing those 6lbs already! As you lose more weight you will notice a difference but you need to stick with it unfortunately! You may not even notice at first you may go from muffin top to more slender and then wonder what the hell happened (as in my case!). Unfortunately and your not gonna like this, you may just be one of those women who stores her harvest there and that may be the last place to budge! I posted yesterday that I am down to under 23% body fat and lost almost 9kg but my tummy is seriously letting me down by not keeping up. All I can do to assist kicking it's *kitten* out the door is core work, cardio and clean eating (my god I miss my pizzas though lol!) It's just gonna take hard work and dedication girl - we didn't put it there overnight...
Good luck and stick with it!!0
