Hi All,
I've lost 21lbs so far, which I am genuinely really pleased with. However initially I was loosing 2/3lbs a week. Now down to just 1lb a week losses and wondered whether there was anyway to speed this up?
Currently eating 1300 calories a day (use food scales and track absolutely everything) on top of this do 6 x 1 hour military boot camp fitness sessions, 2 10k runs during the week and sometimes a 5k jog.
Would reducing carbs further perhaps help? This may be a question where there isn't an easy answer but thought i'd ask you wise people

Nope, no way to speed it up. As you get closer to your goal weight, your lose will continue to slow down. Sounds like what you are doing is working. Just keep at it and practice patience.0

With 17 pounds left to lose, a pound a week is right about where you want to be for right now, if not half a pound a week. Higher deficits with less to lose can mean lack of nutrients, muscle loss, and other health concerns, especially if the deficit is prolonged.0

Other than starving, not really.
Be patient. It will happen!0 -

Not really. Whats the rush for anyway?0

Of course it's possible. You could eat less (fewer calories in) or be more active (more calories out) or both.0

I would say to stick to plan.
I have lost a little over 125 lbs. now it is slow.... And I'm lifting and adding muscle some days so it is even slower.
As others have said, do it healthy and burn off the fat.
You are doing great! Just stick with it.0 -
You're doing fantastic. What's the rush?0

It would be great if you could, but you just have to be patient.
I also have to wonder if you are eating your exercise calories back. I sure hope so since 1300 seems real low if you aren't.
Nope try not to eat exercise calories back. That was the suggested calories so kind of assumed about right and am loosing weight0
