What does NSV stand for

Non-Scale Victory.

So essentially, it's any measure of success that doesn't involve the scale. Maybe you passed up that cake at the office; or had to go down a notch in your belt; or you received a compliment on your weight loss; or you ran your first mile; etc. etc.
