so my pics that I have are a -23lb difference, before I started using MFP, I had lost about 17lbs ...after trying and failing many weight loss plans, I started getting serious February 1st of this year and have lost at a steady pace ever since, through counting calories, only eating when I'm truly hungry and lots of cardio on my treadmill, I really believe if I can do it, anyone can!

My current goal is to lose 20 more pounds before October and I'm feeling optimistic:) ad2fbpvydao4.jpg

Well I follow the principles of the weight loss program "naturally slim"...you basically eat what you want, you just change when and how you eat, by when it means, only eating when your truly hungry, so I only eat twice a day, lunch and dinner, and by how, it means, eat slowly, chew every bite, take at least 20 minutes to eat your meal, this gives your body enough time to realize it is full and you should stop when you're comfortably full. So you'll end up eating a lot smaller portions, I lost 6 lbs in the first week of doing this. It also tells you to eat a lean protein at every meal, since protein helps you feel full longer ...it also tells you to cut out sugar, only having it in moderation occasionally, sugar turns into fat very quickly. I also cut out alcohol, because it makes it very hard to lose weight when you're having alcohol too.

Sounds great. Eating twice a day however does not sound like a bright idea.

I do between 20-30 minutes in the morning before I eat anything...and then again after dinner, I try to run at least 10 minutes, and then walk the rest at a fast pace..

It's made me lose a lot of weight and keep losing every week so it works for me! ...when you start feeling hungry, but don't eat right away, is when you start burning stored fat...most people only get truly hungry 2 times a day..so that's when you eat :)
