Greetings, All! I joined around 6/20/15. I'm a 43 year-old female who is MFP-blogging about an experiment with her own version of the every-other-day diet (Eat 500 calories one day, 1500 the next, repeat!). Check out my daily blog entries to see how things go. Trying to find others eating this way or in a similar way, e.g., the 5:2 diet (better known in the UK?). Whether you are eating as such or just curious, feel free to send a friend request. I think my blog is public.

Hello, have you watched Michael Mosely documentary about fasting? (I watched it on PBS awhile ago) http://www.kpbs.org/news/2013/apr/02/eat-fast-and-live-longer-michael-mosley/

I found it very interesting! I sent you a friend request!

Hi OP - I would be interested in reading your blog but cannot see it in your profile - please can you provide a link.

I am also doing a type of alternate day fasting based upon 600/1400 calories and it seems to be working so far (30 pounds down).
