I love to saute veggies, but 1 tbsp of EVOO is 120. Is there a better way to cook them to get the lowest calorie count? If so, love to hear your recipes.

    use less oil...

i prefer mine sauteed or roasted as well...I use about 1 Tbsp for four servings of veg...so individually, we're getting around a tsp or so each...a little less actually.

Roasting gives the best flavor. Just toss in a tiny tiny bit of oil and spices.
    Steaming is the fastest/lowest calories.

For the best calorie count, I would just steam them

I stick a lot of veg on the grill. You can brush or spray on a light coating of olive oil. I usually log it as the raw veg plus a tsp (not TBSP) of olive oil.

If I am eating a plain veggie, I steam it. Most of the time I make stews and casseroles with lots of veggies so they cook along with the meat.

I am a firm believer in the steamer insert that came with my rice cooker.

Fat is one of your macros....I just cook veggies the way they taste the best.

But if you are already meeting your fat goal with other foods...then just steam them.

I steam, then add butter for the fat macro. Whatever works for you!

Roasting for me = bake at a high temp for a short period of time .

I do something like this but I don't add the oil (just sprinkle with seasoning) http://lifeonthefoodchain.blogspot.com/2013/05/yes-you-can-roast-frozen-vegetables-yes.html

Stir fry. Just soy sauce and other flavors like siracha. Very flavorful and low cal. High sodium though.

I like veggies all ways, and it depends on the veg, but broccoli, asparagus, brussels i love roasted because you can get them crispy. Love this broccoli one http://paleogrubs.com/roasted-broccoli-recipe

I've found for both roasting and sautéing that it I spray the pan with a bit of non stick spray first I can use about half the oil to flavor the veggies.

Oven roasted with fresh herbs (Or dried if fresh is not available). Toss with a little spray oil for fewer calories.
