Or high-rep low weight workouts?

Cardio = 20 mins intervals then 20-30 mins moderate steady state

If you're fit enough to do it, sure, no problem.

If you're not fit enough, just work up to it slowly.

    Have fun! :drinker:

Definitely OK. Do whatever works for you and your goals, but there's no reason you can't do both consecutively.

Ok sorry, was at the gym deciding :) Thank you for your prompt replies! :)

So in case I wasn't clear (as is likely) - it's 30 minutes of bodyweight resistance (30x3) and higher-rep/lower weight (12x3) stuff. Then 20-25 minutes of intervals (both speed and resistance), then another 20-30 minutes of steady state lower intensity cardio, at moderate resistance.

I know I'm not building huge amounts of muscle with the resistance workout (which is all I can do right now), but I'm not losing the little I'm maybe keeping with this cardio after the fact, am I?

Cardio exercise doesn't "burn muscle." Placing your body in a prolonged state of caloric deficit over time so it turns to itself for fuel and allowing your muscles to make themselves seem less important to your body eats muscle. 45 minutes of cardio isn't even going to go through all the glycogen you've got hanging out in your body. You're fine.

Excellent, thank you :) (I didn't think so but just wanted to check)

It's easier for me to just get it all done in one longer session than to do 2 smaller ones in a day.
