Night shift and balance

Hey everyone I'm new on here. I downloaded this app bc two weeks ago I decided to turn my life around. Part of turning my life around involves shedding all of these unwanted pounds. I've gained so much weight this year because of take out food and alcohol. I have recently cut out alcohol and am now working on my diet plan. My struggle is that 4days a week I work night shifts from 7pm-8:30am. When I get off work I usually eat breakfast and then sleep til 4pm. When I'm awake I'm not motivated to workout before work and I feel like I over eat. Any suggestions on how I can balance out the two with my work schedule?? Any advice would be appreciated!

Im a night shifter 5 days a week. When I was able to get good sleep before kids I always worked out after work before sleep. I slept a lot better too. Now I only sleep about 2-4 hours a day because of my kids but I still workout before my biggest part of sleep. I think its easier for me this way because its also a great way to work of the workday stress before laying down.0

I used to work Midnight to 8AM and would get in my workout as soon as I could after work while I still had energy.0

When I was on nights I did a big workout as soon as I left work. After my workout I would have a glass of milk and sleep soundly because the exercise gave me the final push to exhaustion. I took lots of healthy food with me to work, since the night cafeteria has awful tasting food. I was a size 2 back then. Sigh.0
